3 August 2017

We congratulate Glenn Yates, not only on his selection as an Under 18 Springbok squash player, but also on some excellent performances at the World Squash Championships which were held in New Zealand during July. In the individual draw Glenn played several tough matches and ended up achieving the best world ranking of all the South African players. He was then was unbeaten in the international series of matches for the South African team. Well done Glenn! In the recent squash IPTs around the country no fewer than 14 Bishops players represented Western Province – the highest number ever. Matthew Reid – who played at Number 1 for the WP U14s - is to be congratulated on being selected as one of the top seven SA players in his age group. Congratulations to the following on being awarded colours for squash: Half colours: Jonathan Greyling (re-award), Charlie Yates, Brandon Snider, Calvin-Ziegler Smith, Tim Wright and Nick Gleeson.
