Lingua Franca

Overview

Lingua Franca is a society at Bishops that was established in 1969 by Mr Michael Fisher who was the Head of French at the College from 1958. He thought at the time especially the boarders could do with another society, hence the founding of Lingua Franca. It is to convey meaningful messages about what is happening in the lives of young people and how they might be challenged and respond. Today it has a membership of close to 40.
