Marek Kanigowski has continued to excel in this sport, and has raised eyebrows in the senior polo community. Marek spent the Easter Weekend in Plettenberg Bay, playing at the highest level., and was asked to play with two current Springboks and the best player from the Free State for the East Qwa-Qwa land side, which against all odds went on to win the tournament. Marek won Most Valuable Player, and went on to win the second tournament of the season. Marek was asked to stay in Plettenberg Bay over this week to receive personal coaching from the South African Polo Association, and has been invited to play in a tournament in England over the June July holidays.
