The College has a rich golfing history.
Old Diocesans who made a name for themselves include Simon Hobday, Michael Watermayer, Dorian Wharton-Hood, Peter Sauerman, Davis Wren and Brian Lefson.
Michael Watermayer was President of SA Golf. Paul Sauerman is the most respected sporting Historian in the country - his golf museum is worth a visit - possibly the best in the country. Brian Lefson was a Springbok golfer and President of the WPGU.
Once every four years, our golfers embark on an overseas tour. Added to this, there are other smaller tours and festivals that we attend on a yearly basis.
The following staff are involved with golf:
Mervin Walsh - TIC, Gary Coombe and Glen Gibbon
