Three Grade 9 students—Milo Bonadei, Fardeen Parker and Dylan Davies—have started an initiative called Sole to Soul to help people in need by collecting, cleaning, and redistributing pre-loved shoes. They noticed that many shoes in homes were unused while others had no proper footwear, and decided to do something about it.

The students have started to plan their project, spreading the word in their community, and collecting donations from the donation bin set up in the Ubuntu Learning Centre.

They have started cleaning each pair of their shoes and they deliver them to people who need them most. Their aim is to provide comfort and protection, while also giving recipients a sense of dignity and confidence.

Together, they are making a difference, one sole at a time.
