The Hockey Season kicked off with the Bishops U14B, 16B and 2^nd team hockey squads taking part in the Cape Co-Ed Festival. All teams displayed some excellent hockey and embraced the opportunity with great enthusiasm, enjoying both the competition and the experience. There were a mix of results, including several strong performances and well-earned wins. Our 2^nd team went on to compete in the Fish Hoek Festival as well. Where they continued to display grit and good skill winning two of their three games. 
The 1^st team also competed in the preseason festival at PV this term, where they played Outeniqua and Somerset College. After a bit of a rough start, they managed to come out on top for both games showing some great character and hockey.

The 2026 hockey season is off to a strong start and we look forward to seeing more great hockey and development across all teams. We wish our A sides well and safe travels as they head off to Durban in the holidays to compete in the Coastal Cup.
