A huge congratulations to Zayd Badroodien on an incredible weekend of squash! 

Coming into the 2026 Growthpoint SA National Squash Championships seeded No. 3, Zayd put on a masterclass on the All Glass court at Makers Landing, V&A Waterfront.

After securing his spot in the Top 4 pool with a clean 3–0 win over the No. 6 seed, he took on a grueling Round Robin stage:

* Defeated Seed #2: 3–1

 * Pushed Seed #4: 2–3

 * Defeated Seed #1: 3–1

With unmatched grit, composure, and determination, Zayd finished top of the pool to claim the U15 National Title!
