Bishops have had some outstanding results in the 2021 Eskom Expo for Young Scientists which was held online recently. Highly Commended awards were received by Devon Marshall, Ethan Mattison, Malick Majiet, Michael Kruse and Nic Macdonald. Gold medals were won by Daniel Fletcher and Zuhayr Mohamood and they also produced the best project in the Plant Sciences section. Daniel and Zuhayr were then invited to take place in the International Science Fair (which was also held remotely) which involved contestants from as far afield as Indonesia and Mexico. Here they also received Gold medals and were again top in the Plant Sciences section, for which they received a R3000 prize and a plaque.
