1st XI cricket captain, Abel Mokwena, represented the 'Southern Superstars' at Cricket South Africa's (CSA) annual Cubs Week played in Stellenbosch from the 10th to the 14th January 2022. Cubs Week sees the top u19 cricket talent from across the nation competing against one another on a regional basis. The 'Southern Superstars' won three; tied one and lost one with Abel scoring 55 in the match vs the 'Eastern Warriors'.
