The 2nd Water polo team travelled to Gqeberha for the Pearson 2nd Team Water polo tournament, from the 2nd to the 5th February. The team played great polo, improving with every pool game. They finished 1st in their pool beating PRG, Merrifield, Pearson, and Bosch 2. Focus then turned to the knockout stages where they played St Andrew’s College in the QF, winning 8 – 2. Next up was PRG in a highly anticipated SF match. Unfortunately, the team lost a penalty shootout to end a thrilling game. There were many lessons learned and valuable experience gained by the team and individual players.
