The U14A water polo side competed in the Rondebosch tournament over the weekend and did very well, playing some excellent polo. The side won all their pool games, beating Paarl Boys 8-1, Wynberg 3-2, and Pretoria Boys 6-2, scoring 22 goals, and conceding only 5. This put the boys in a quarterfinal with Affies, where the boys sadly didn’t play at their best, and lost 4-5, despite a strong comeback. The team got a placing qualifier win against Bosch U13s (7-1), followed by another win over Wynberg (on penalties) which resulted in a 5th place finish. The boys defended well, and learned valuable lessons, and had a great time. Thank you to our hosts for a fabulous tournament.
