Programming Olympiad Final Round Awards

We are excited to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Nico Schreuder, who has made is now ranked among the top 6 programmers at the national level in the recently concluded Programming Olympiad at an event recently held in Pretoria.
Nico's remarkable journey began with an outstanding score of 100% in the 1st round, earning hima Gold Certificate. He then progressed to the second round, competing against over 600 students from across all the nine provinces. In this challenging phase, Nico secured a spot for the finals among the top 17 participants drawn from the Western Cape, Gauteng, KZN and Mpumalanga.
As a complimentary guesture, he was inducted into the Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA) as an honorary member. He advanced to the final round, joining 16 other top qualifiers. Here, he faced complex programming challenges that tested his skills under pressure.
With determination and skill, Nico not only solved these tough problems but finished among the top 6. He was awarded a Silver Medal and a Certificate of Achievement.
Congratulations to Nico for representing Bishops at this prestigious event and for showcasing the spirit of excellence and perseverance. Well done, Nico! We’re all so proud of you!
