The Maccabi Games is currently the third largest sporting event in the world when it comes to participant numbers (behind the Olympics and the Commonwealth Games). Maccabi South Africa has participated in the world-renowned sporting event since 1935. The 2022 Games consisted of approximately 10 000 athletes from 80 countries, competing in 42 sport categories. This year we had five Bishops boys who were selected to represent Maccabi South Africa in the July holidays, in two different disciplines, futsal and water polo. Well done and congratulations to the following boys on their selection.
