Sailing

7 March 2019

A number of our sailors have been involved in regattas over the past few months. Highlights have been: In the Youth Nationals in December last year, Niels Tiaden crewed on a 420 with a skipper from another school – they came second in their fleet; In the Laser Radial fleet – out of Keenan Mills, Cameron Clark, Andrew Low and James Rumbelow, Keenan came out tops with a credible fifth place. In the Sonnet Nationals in January, Andrew Low and his non Bishops crew were our top competitors coming 13th out of 30 boats. In a Grand Slam event at Hermanus in February two of our boys Andrew Low and Cameron Clark came second and third in the Laser Radial class. We wish our sailors well as two teams compete in a 24 hour challenge at Milnerton Aquatic Club this coming weekend. Congratulations to Ogilvie who beat Gray house in the Interhouse sailing competition this past Friday. James Rumbelow captained the team.
