The 1st XI cricket team brings the curtain down on a long season this week by way of their participation, as Western Cape champions, in the eight-team Schools SA20 National Championships 'Final Showdown' held at Tuks in Pretoria. Bishops was joined by Northwood (KZN); Saint Andrew's School (Free State); Pearson (Eastern Cape); Graeme College (CSA focus school); a CSA Hub XI; St David's Marist Inanda (Gauteng Central) and Garsfontein (Titans) The Bishops Community congratulates coaches, Visser Gildenhuys and Lutho Pohlongo, captain, James Robb-Quinlan, and the other 1st XI 12 members after winning the inaugural CSA competition, beating St David's Marist, Inanda in the semi and final to take the honours. The boys have had an incredible season, and this win highlights how well they have done as a team. We are extremely proud of them all.
