I would like to congratulate our students who participated in the Computer Talent Search which was run at the end of the first term this year. The contest, run by the Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa(IITPSA) attracts more than two million participants from more than 50 countries each year. It requires the use of Computational Thinking – skills that are also required for Mathematics, Science, IT and Computer Applications. It identifies learners with these skills, but at the same time gives them an opportunity to develop them.
