Interhouse Table Tennis

14 October 2025

On the 22nd of September, Arman Patel and co. were once again at the forefront of establishing the Interhouse Table Tennis tournament as a regular mainstay of the school’s interhouse calendar. The event this year, learning from last years’ experience, was hosted at Mallett House (with thanks to Mr Campbell Smith for allowing us the use of the venue).

It was stiff competition between the participants, with Gray House and Birt House going neck-to-neck in Group A. In Group B, Kidd managed to establish their dominance, outplaying Mallett and Ogilvie. The semis featured Gray v Mallett and Birt v Kidd, setting up a final between Gray House and last year’s champions, Birt House.

It was not to be, however, for the men of the palm tree, giving way to the men of Gray House whose team featured Jeremy Liddle, Jack John Gibbon and Cuan Cadiz. Well done to Gray House.

A special mention to the matrics—Joe Bolus, Gavin Martin, William Heath, Joe Phillipson and Jack Buckham—who joined us and bringing much gees to the event. We look forward to the next instalment of this pulsating sport which stands unchallenged as the most played sport at Bishops.
