White House (named after the first Principal Henry White 1849-57) was built in 1954 whilst Hubert Kidd was Principal. It is the only boarding House purpose built and commands an impressive view of Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak across the Piley Rees rugby field. It houses about 70 boarders.
